Satria WardanaLead Frontend Mobile Engineer

I lead mobile teams that ship stable Flutter apps at scale.

15+ years in software engineering, the last 5+ leading a team of six at Catalyst Tech. I rebuilt Jamtangan from React Native to Flutter, built voila.id from scratch, and set up the CI/CD that tests every pull request and ships releases to the App Store and Google Play.

Selected work

Apps I've built, rebuilt or helped scale, from telecom self-care apps in Indonesia to payments across Southeast Asia.

Catalyst Tech · React Native → Flutter

Jamtangan

I led the team that rebuilt Jamtangan's legacy React Native app in Flutter. The new app runs significantly faster, the codebase is easier to maintain, and crash-free sessions went from under 50% to 99.97%.

Engineering leadership

How I run a mobile team

I pair people management with hands-on technical direction. These are the practices I bring to a team.

Managing a team of six

At Catalyst Tech I managed 1 senior, 2 mid-level and 3 junior engineers, including their performance reviews, while setting technical direction for three apps.

Architecture migrations

I've led two: React Native to Flutter at Catalyst Tech for speed, stability and maintainability, and MVP to MVVM at KUDO for cleaner separation of concerns.

Testing that everyone owns

At Grab I trained QA engineers to write automated widget tests, so they could add to the automation pipeline themselves and catch problems earlier.

Cost-aware infrastructure

Moving CI/CD to self-hosted GitHub runners cut infrastructure costs by 95% and made builds noticeably faster for the whole team.
